Do I need to supply my own cleaning supplies?

Minit Maids provides all of the necessary cleaning solutions, sanitized supplies and state-of-the-art equipment.  Our Greener Cleaning Products are  safe for both family and pets!   However, if you have a special product you prefer we use when cleaning your home such as a specific stone cleaner or polish, we’ll be happy to use it!  Contact the office to let us know what you would like the team to use.  Because of OSHA regulations, these items must be labeled properly.

Do I need to do anything before you come to my home?

In order to help Minit Maids work efficiently, we ask that you pick up as much as possible.  This allows us to spend our time most effectively while cleaning your home.

How many people will be in my home?

Minit Maids works in crews of two (2) and sometimes three (3) person teams depending upon the schedule for the day.  Remember, every job is supervised and inspected by our working crew leaders.  You will find their names on our Comment Card left after each cleaning.

Will I get the same team every time?

If you are scheduled Weekly or Bi-Weekly, Minit Maids schedules the same team to clean your home.  This allows your team to get to know your home and your needs.  On occasion, a schedule change may require we send a different team.  However, your satisfaction is still guaranteed!

Do you hire employees or independent contractors?

Minit Maids hires only full time employees.  We see our people every morning and afternoon!

Are you licensed, bonded and insured?

We provide Liability Insurance to protect against any damage that could occur.  Our Third Party Fidelity bond is the best bonding a maid service can implement.  We have been licensed since the day we opened our business in 1981.   Our $1,000,000 Umbrella Policy is coverage that adds another layer of security.  Most importantly,  our hiring practices ensure you  will have both trustworthy and highly trained cleaners in your home.

Will I be able to communicate with the teams members who come to my house?

Yes, all Minit Maids employees speak English.

What do I do with my indoor pets?

Minit Maids hires only pet friendly people!  It is our priority to safe guard your four legged family members and keep them in your designated areas.  However, if you have aggressive dogs, for the safety of our employees, they must be kept separate from our cleaning teams.

Do I have to be home during service?

Not at all!    Many our clients provide us with a key to their home or an alternate means of gaining entry.  Our key management system is very safe and secure!  See Policies for more information.

When is payment due and how do I pay for my services?

Payment is due at the time service is rendered.  We accept cash, check, credit card and on line bank bill pay as form of payment.  A credit card must be on file for your initial clean, regardless of form of payment used.   We ask for a back up credit card available to use should you forget to leave check/cash on the day of service.  Checks are made payable to Minit Maids.

Do I have to sign a contract?

No. When you hire Minit Maids, we ask you sign a Customer Service Agreement.  This simply states that you understand and agree to what is expected for both parties.

Do I have to tip your employees?

Tipping while appreciated is not required.  If you do choose to tip your team, you may include in your payment or leave them cash separately.  If you choose to add it to a credit card payment, please call the office directly.

What are your cancellation/rescheduling policies?

At Minit Maids, we ask that you notify management at least 2 business days in advance if you need to skip a visit or re-schedule.  We will certainly work with you in a genuine emergency; however, if a service is cancelled at the last minute for a non-emergency, we do have a cancellation fee.  If you need to reschedule a visit, please call the office.  Every effort is made to accommodate your scheduling needs.

What if something is broken?

Minit Maids staff takes great care when cleaning your home but occasionally accidents do happen.  If this occurs, the team supervisor will leave you a note, report it to management and you will be called so we may take appropriate action.  Minit Maids are trained to handle your antiques and collectibles.  Minit Maids does not take responsibility for damage that results because of improperly secured, hung or installed items.  Please inform management in advance if you have anything we should not touch!

Are there limitations to what you can clean?

Because of liability issues and concern for our employees, we do not climb over a 2 step height with our step stool. We do however have an extension tool that enables us to reach most areas.   We do not move heavy furniture; however, our equipment allows us to get beneath and around most of your furnishings! While we do remove trash from your home and place it in proper containers, please be mindful of the amount of bags we can carry.  Excessive amounts may be left in a prearranged area. We do not do laundry or dishes; however we will change your bed linens if fresh ones are left out (please see our Add On list for pricing).

What if I’m not satisfied with my service?

The satisfaction of our clients is our primary objective! If we should miss an area, contact us within 24 hours of service date and we will return to re-clean the area you are dissatisfied with at no additional cost to you within 2 business days.  Minit Maids does not offer a refund for services provided but does Guarantee your satisfaction.
