Does your Kitchen stink!!???
If your kitchen seems smelly, and you’ve taken out the trash, you’ve cleaned out the fridge, you’ve sprayed air freshener (don’t do it) and tried baking cookies but nothing improves…
Look down the sink! The kitchen sink’s garbage disposal chops up food and washes away crumbs, but also collects bits of debris that linger, harboring bacteria and producing that stinky smell.
It’s important to give your sink a clean-out every week!
Pour one Cup baking soda and one Cup white vinegar down the disposal. Let the mixture bubble up for 10 minutes. Boil a kettle or pot of hot water. Pour water down the drain to flush out the baking soda and vinegar mixture.
Or try, filling the drain with two cups of ice and one cup of salt. Turn on cold water, and run the disposal until the ice is gone. This will clean the blades.
For extra deodorizing power, peel an orange, lemon, lime or grapefruit and drop the rinds down the disposal one piece at a time.
Your kitchen will thank you! (Our thanks to The Huffington Post)
Did You Know??
Only some spider species can make round webs, but almost ALL species leave draglines…which are what cobwebs are made from! Our Webster Duster Heads are designed to grab hold of those webs, whether they are up high in a corner, or hiding beneath a chair. Remember, some webs rebuild quickly! We’ve seen some reappear withing 24 hours!
