1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the website and services provided by Minit Maids, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services.
2. Services
Minit Maids provides residential and/or commercial cleaning services. Service details, pricing, and availability may vary and are subject to change without notice.
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason permitted by law.
3. Booking & Scheduling
- Appointments can be scheduled through our website, phone, or other approved methods.
- You agree to provide accurate and complete information when booking services.
- Appointment times are estimates and may vary due to scheduling or unforeseen circumstances.
4. Pricing & Payments
- Prices are based on the scope of work and may be adjusted if conditions differ from what was originally described.
- Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise agreed.
- We may securely process payments through third-party providers.
- All add-on services must be processed through the office, not through the cleaning technicians.
Failure to pay may result in cancellation of future services.
5. Cancellations & Rescheduling
- We ask for at least 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
- Late cancellations or missed appointments may be subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
6. Access to Property
You are responsible for providing access to the property at the scheduled time, including:
- Entry instructions
- Alarm codes (if applicable)
- Secured pets
If access is not provided, you will be charged 50% of your regular cleaning cost.
7. Satisfaction Guarantee
We strive to provide high-quality service. If you are not satisfied:
- Please notify us within 24 hours and we will come back to clean the area of concern at no additional cost to you (within 2 business days)
- We do not provide refunds for completed work, but will guarantee our work by sending a team back to re-clean the area in question.
8. Limitations of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- Minit Maids is not liable for pre-existing damage, wear and tear, or improper installations
- Our vacuums use an agitator brush like most upright vacuums. If you have a specialty rug that need a floor brush tool, you must notify us in writing. All insurance claims will be denied if not in writing.
- We do not accept responsibility for blinds that fall apart while rising, opening, or cleaning.
- We are not responsible for items not secured or disclosed prior to service
- Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the service in question.
- You will not solicit employment of any Minit Maids employee during our agreement and up to one year after the termination of this agreement. There will be a compensation fee of $2,500 if you are interested in securing employment of one of our employees.
9. Customer Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide a safe working environment
- Inform us of fragile, valuable, or delicate items
- Secure pets or notify us of their presence
- Ensure utilities (water, electricity) are available
- Provide a comfortable working environment, including temperature.
10. Supplies
- Minit Maids will provide all cleaning equipment and supplies (except trash liners which are provided by the client)
- The health of both our employees and customers is our top priority, and there are many products we will not use such as bleach or tilex.
- Please let the office know if you have a preferred cleaning solution that you would like your technician to use (approval is at the discretion of the office)
- If you use bleach products in your home, please do so once the team has left.
- Most of our products are environmentally friendly and safe for you. They don’t leave a lingering scent.
11. Use of Website
You agree not to:
- Use the website for unlawful purposes
- Attempt to interfere with website functionality
- Submit false or misleading information
12. Intellectual Property
All content on this website—including text, logos, and images—is the property of Minit Maids and may not be copied or used without permission.
13. Third-Party Services
We may use third-party tools or services (such as payment processors or booking platforms). We are not responsible for their policies or actions.
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict of law principles.
